Glasgow City Council "I am pleased to have had the opportunity to be involved and assist the tremendous efforts of the Committee. Ability Fest is, and should remain, an integral fixture in Glasgow´s "inclusive events" calendar. It is a unique facilitator, providing disabled people with access to information and services and allows services to engage and learn from their client group". (Councillor Irfan Rabbani, Glasgow City Council, Executive Member for Equalities).

Strathclyde Police Force Strathclyde Police is fully committed to diversity and equality, and strives to have a fully representative workforce. The Force recognises the key benefits of having a diverse community of staff and is working towards building and maintaining an environment which values and respects equality and diversity. Ability Fest 2008 is a fantastic opportunity for Strathclyde Police to highlight these opportunities, offer an insight into the application process, and offer advice and guidance on how to access these opportunities. Strathclyde Police staff will be available throughout the day to answer your questions, and will deliver a workshop from 12.30 - 1.30 pm in Rooms 4 & 5 "Moving On to Employment", where we will be giving a more in-depth insight into these roles and opportunities. We look forward to seeing you there.
