Fairway has been working with young people for five years developing a new model of service that supports young adult social inclusion and transition issues. Fairway invite non disabled young people to peer mentor the young people with disabilities, supporting their growth towards adulthood. In those five years we have seen the confidence and expectations of those we work with grow and develop. We have seen, as you will, the strength and confidence young people have when they each lend their skills and character to a common purpose. We have built a model of service that not only supports young disabled people but supports communities, employers and society as a whole.

Fairway are looking to share this model with external agencies and invite you to come and see if this is something that may meet your young adults needs. The workshop looks to introduce you to a totally unique method of supporting young adults with disabilities.
