Indepen-dance offers weekly creative movement classes for people with a learning disability and their carers and family members. The classes offer a safe appropriate environment for people with a learning disability to participate in a dance style which is suited to their needs. The classes run from beginner´s level to a more advanced class for the more experienced dancer wishing to perform.

Indepen-dance offers training opportunities, taster workshops and week long projects. We offer performances for conferences, exhibitions and public events. We organize and provide creative movement outreach / education programmes & workshops for the community in Glasgow and wider a field. We provide work experience and student placement for people interested in using dance with people with disabilities.

This will be an introduction to indepen-dance´s teaching style, using creative movement. You will be lead in this workshop with our experienced integrated staff to express yourself through movement and music. We believe that everyone has a dancer inside!! lets all move together.
